Meow And Memo

One bright morning, two kittens Meow and Memo went fishing with their mother. Meow paid attention to the way its mother fished, then went fishing cleverly. After a few minutes, Meow had many fish.

 A frog saw this situation and it wanted to joke with Memo. The frog found one shoe to hook on Memo’s. Suddenly , Meow saw its rod shaking, “look, it is fish.” Memo turned its head to hold the rod and to raise its paw in happiness. Alas, it found that the thing was just a shoe! It was very sad. Its mother said “Did you thing it was a big fish? You just had a dream because you were not patient.”

  However, the naughty Memo was not patient. When it dropped its hook into the lake it began to play with other things. Its mother had hold it not play when it was fishing, but it didn’t remember. Its younger sister also warned it, “hey, stop playing, you should pay attention to your fishing.” Memo ignored this and still played everywhere.

 As it was late in the afternoon, their mother took them home. Their mother had many fish in its commode and Meow did too. However, Memo had nothing in its commode. It just had dust on its clothes and face. It was very upset, and asked its mother the reason. Memo’s mother told it, “Your sister was very quite whilst fishing, but you? You just put the line in the river and played everywhere. So this is the reason why you didn’t catch fish.”

 That night, Memo regretted what it had done. Two weeks passed and the went fishing again. This time, Memo had many fish. It had already learned to focus on one thing.
